Professor Archive (“we”) publishes a free email newsletter that arrives on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Your email address. It's the only thing our sign-up form asks for.
- Basic newsletter statistics, such as whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. Our email platform, beehiiv, records these automatically, along with details such as the type of device used and an approximate location.
How we use it
- To send you the Professor Archive newsletter and the free chart Denominations at a Glance, plus the occasional email about the newsletter itself.
- To see which letters readers find useful, so we can write better ones.
Who handles it for us
- beehiiv, our newsletter platform, stores our subscriber list and sends our emails.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent email addresses.
- We don't give email addresses to advertisers or sponsors.
- We don't publish your replies or share them with anyone else.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it any time and the emails stop.
